Cookies, Pumpkins, and a Very Happy 20th Birthday!

Hello, guys! It is now 11 o'clock at night and I am about to start winding down from a FANTASTIC 20th birthday! I spent some time with some great people and I feel so blessed! :) I did manage to list some new things on Etsy! One of the newest things I have made are these quote decorations! Here is one that says LOVE! There are a few more sets further into the post!

I also made some pumpkins that have a crackled look to them... they go along with the quote pumpkins pretty nicely! :D I have four different kinds of these, as you can see below.

Here are some more text pumpkins! It's been fun putting the colors together and working with the crackle medium.

I have also made some cookies! Here are some chocolate chip cookies! I love chocolate chip cookies SO MUCH. I just recently had the chance to make some real ones! They turned out awesome!

And here is another experiment! They are autumn leaf cookies!

That's all for today! I'm exhausted and I am looking forward to getting some sleep! I hope you all are doing well! I have been asked a couple times today if it feels any different to be 20 years old... and it kinda DOES. Normally I don't feel that different on my birthday, but today I felt... BRIGHTER than I normally do. I can only guess that it has to do with all of the great support I get from my family and friends- the ones in my every day life and the ones here on the internet! Thank you all so much for your support and care!

As always, if you are interested in any of these items check out my Etsy shop HERE! :)

Easter! (a late one) + GREAT NEWS!

Hello everyone! Gosh, have I missed you all!!!

Well... there is a lot of news to be shared! First of all, I have listed some new items! I have made some of these really awesome Glitter Egg Ornaments!

Each egg is hand sculpted, decorated, and they each have silver hooks! If you are interested in purchasing some Glitter Egg Decorations, click HERE!

I have also been making some more Tweets! These little guys were a big hit last year and I just HAD to make some more. I love making them, and I think they brighten up Spring displays very well!

I did change them up a bit... I added a new color! GREEN! The addition of the green Tweets rounds out the colors and makes the entire set look great!

If you are interested in purchasing some of these, the listing is HERE. Each purchase is for 1 set of Tweets and each set comes with 4 marshmallow chicks and a box. Speaking of- there were a few changes to the box as well! I altered the dimensions and I also made them KRAFT! I don't know if I'm just on some kraft-kick lately, but I love the way it looks! It has so much texture and it makes the Tweets just POP!

I also picked up a little wooden man at the craft store. He is somewhat pose-able and he is about 4 inches tall. I have been having a lot of fun taking pictures of him! :D Haha!

I apologize if any of you guys wanted Tweets BEFORE Easter... I know that would have made the MOST sense, but I have been really busy!

I may have mentioned this once before on here, but a shop opened up in town called Artists View. It is a place for local artists to make and sale their work. I am currently renting some studio space and I am also selling miniatures in the store! If anyone is in the area, feel free to walk in! I am there most of the time when I am not at school or out of town! Here is a sneak peek at my work area-

I am still trying to get it organized and stuff. I literally took all of my supplies to the studio so that I can work there without a problem! I will update everyone really soon about everything because I am now offically on SPRING BREAK! :D :D :D

Like I said, its spring break so I have the whole week to do what I want! And you all know what that is.... MINIATURES! I would also like to paint some before the week is over, but hey.... I don't want to ask for too much. Hahaha!

Well, it's getting late and I need some sleep! I hope everyone is doing well and being creative!
XOXO

Easter Is Coming! + House Progress

Hello all! I have been SUPER busy. School has been constantly picking up and I couldn't seem to catch a break... until a few days ago! I have been working on mainly some Easter items- Tweets (Peeps), decorations, sweets.... So here is a little looksie to what I have been up to!

The Tweets are back! This year I have added a GREEN TWEET to the collection! It rounds out the colors SO well! Now it feels even more like Easter is around the corner! This year I adjusted the shape a bit- these have a more defined shape, which makes them more realistic!

I also have these Easter egg decorations! They are going to come in sets of 5 and can be hanged anywhere in your display! These also come in the same colors as the Tweets, so they coordinate perfectly! I will be taking some more pictures of these before I list them- I just have to make something else to go along with them! ;)

ON TO THE HOUSE! I have been slowly getting back to work on this little baby. I have put up wall paper on one wall and I have been putting bricks up on the other. As you can see in the next image, I still have a good bit of bricks to lay down.

As you can see, the house is a mess. I have some furniture here and there and I have JUNK everywhere. I did manage to get a fireplace going! You can see that in the next image.

See that wooden thingy? That's my fireplace/chimney! I have been cutting TONS of bricks and I have plenty of egg cartons now, it just takes a while to get it done.

If you follow me on Facebook you might already know this, but I have been working to have my miniatures put in an actual store! There is a shop opening up here in town that caters to local artists- it's called Artists View. At the moment I have some paintings and drawings up, but I hope to have my own booth soon. I just need to make sure I can fill the booth AND have things on my Etsy.

I apologize if it seems I have not been active with the miniatures! I have been doing more recently, but it can be VERY hard to balance everything right now. I hope to check back in again soon, so let me know what you think about everything so far!

More Jack O'Lanterns!

I made some more jack o'lanterns! Heehee... (as the title suggests. silly me!)

I wanted to experiment a little for this round of plump orange jacks! I tried some different shapes, sizes, and faces!

This little guy was one of my favorites. I love his mouth! I am proud of how straight I kept the lines for his teeth. I thought he looked kinda scared!

He has already been sold!

And then there is THIS guy. He just looks grumpy. Or evil. Or both. That big grin makes it hard to tell. This pumpkin has been sold already as well!

Another favorite! Silly Vampire! I love giving them vampire teeth! Is makes them more... fun! I haven't made one look like an evil vampire yet... I like them kinda goofy :D :D :D

Haha! He, too, is already sold. I am so surprised at how fast these guys are flying out the door! I am also SO SO happy! With the rut I had gotten myself into for the summer I was getting discouraged!

:3 This. It just looks so adorable! It's like a baby jack. Tehe. Makes me giggle. This little guy is still available! Grab him quick if you are interested! Listed here.

Another experiment! I liked how my stacked jack o'lanterns turned out SO MUCH, that I wanted to take that idea further. I still have plenty of sketches that I would to make reality, but this was my first attempt.

They all look happy, but the middle one seems to be squished! At least... that is what his face is showing. These fellas are available as well! Listed here.

Annnddd thennnn I made another candy holder thing! I really like this idea and I have never seen it in real life, but I am half tempted to carve a real pumpkin like this to see how it would work. This, too, is available! Listed here.

Well that is is for today! I need to run to the library and then to the post office! It has been a really good week! I have 8 packages to ship off! I don't think I have ever had this many to ship at once!

Have a blessed day!
