Miscellaneous Christmas Items // My Work-Space

Hey guys! I just wanted to stop in and share with you what I have been working on lately! First thing, I brought The Magnolia back out! It has been sitting in my closet for a few months now... collecting dust and peeking at me from around the closet door. I figured now would be a good time to pull it back out and get back to work on it! 

I also started on some plates of cookies! And barrels of candies! I figured candy and cookies would be a good way to start off some Christmas miniatures!

I also did some thrift-shopping this weekend! I found two more little shelves! You can see the ones I have in the bottom left picture. In the picture on the right you can see another image of the cookies and candies.

As for me, I am slowly getting my energy back each day! I have a long list of things I want to be making, but I can't tackle the list like I want because I don't want to work myself to hard and get sick again or anything. So, things are coming along a bit more slowly than I'd like... but they are coming along nonetheless!

Sugar Coated Goodness!

Hey guys!

 

So over the last few days I have been in "rehabilitation mode." I have been laying around in my PJs while eating and drinking all the bagels and home-made iced coffee drinks I can handle. And you know what.... It's working!

 

 

Not only have I been back in the mood to create, but I sprouted some new ideas! Ideas that I won't share JUST yet.... ideas that involve a lot more planning and working, so for now~ Here is what I have been working on!

 

 

As you can recall from the last blog post I was painting barrels! Those barrels have now been promoted to holding CANDY!

 

These barrels are right under an inch, just to give an idea at how small the candies are. As for the candy itself- I have been making some new things! Candy orange slices! And gum drops! There are also some chocolate turtles pictured like the ones I made for Valentine's Day!

 

I also played around with some more chocolate! These are chocolate and peanut squares. (So... chocolate bark? Idk!?)

 

I've been having a ball working on little candies! So expect some more very soon! I am not entirely sure when I will have new things in the Etsy shoppe just yet (but I'm hoping soon also)!

Barrels of fun! And back to work!

Hello, friends!

How is everyone? I have some good news! I'm done with the semester! WHICH MEANS MINIATURES AND ARTS AND CRAFTS AND STUFF! :D

I have been back to work finally! I purchased some little wooden barrels a while back and I have been painting those! I am going to do some fun things with these! :) Take a look! -

I'm also working on a display! This one is just something small so I can see how it goes.... And then I can make something bigger or with more parts :)

I just stacked some foam-core in the form of some steps. This is all that I have done so far because I keep bouncing back and forth in between some small projects I am making. It has been SO nice to be able to work without worrying about schoolwork or anything like that! :)

I have also been working on my house! I have got some more bricks glued down. I think I might have already shown you guys the wall, but I wasn't sure. I did FINALLY start on the chimney yesterday! It's just the start but I couldn't wait to show you guys what I was working on!

I AM out of school right now, but I will be starting 2 summer classes in about a week or so. The two classes will be online, so hopefully I can get some more stuff made this summer. While I have been busy the last few months, I have still been planning stuff I want to make... so I have plenty to work on and finally make it come to life!
