Updated Packaging!

We all love opening gifts! I especially love opening a package that I get in the mail... it's like all of a sudden it's my birthday... or Christmas! I wanted to spread this joy with the things I send my customers on Etsy! So I am updating my packaging!

Recently I ordered some prints of some of my favorite pictures of my minis. I cut them up and am now including them with every order- along with a new Care Guide!

I also made these sweet little tags! It took me a while to play around with the strings, tags, and boxes in order to get them to look like I wanted- but I am quite happy with how they turned out!

Here is a close-up of the tags. Like they each say on the back- made with love! :)

Here are a couple shots of the prints and the Care Guide. The Care Guide is just a few simple guidelines for keeping up with the miniatures. The prints... are just for fun :) I like that they add some color to the overall package- AND you never know which mini-print you are gonna get!

I have a lot more of these little boxes to tie up, but all orders processed from now on will include the new packaging!

Now it's time to get back to work. Today has been one of those days where I stay busy all day, but it doesn't seem like much is getting done. But I must push through! There are miniatures to be made! :D

Weekend Snapshots!

Hello all! I hope you each had a wonderful weekend! Anyone do anything exciting?!

Here are a few things I worked on this weekend! Here are more jack o'lanterns I am working on. I was hoping to have them listed on Friday, but I ran out of paints and now have to wait until I can get some more.

 Actually, since I am trying to work on miniatures full-time for a while- Fridays will remain my photographing and listing day! I figured it would work out since I normally ship at the end of the week... so while I am mailing off orders from the previous week I can list new items!

The above image is what I have been playing around with for my packages. :) I made the tags myself, and if you are interested in getting some of your own you can check out twintrees. It's an Etsy that I have with my best friend and we would be more than happy to work something out with you!

The following images are just a little fun I had with some random scenic moss. If I decide to go further with this, I will happily make another post with more details.

 Basically, this is just a scenic piece that fits into the bottom of my light-box. I built the grassy parts up with foam-core and the walkway is made using egg cartons. Take a look at a couple pumpkins and a jack o'lantern with the set piece underneath! :D

AND, as ya'll know- I went to the Indie Craft Parade. That was basically my weekend! Now I am off to work on some all new minis and also a custom order!

Oh! That reminds me! I normally just leave my commissions open, but they are actually going to be closed for a while. I WILL get back to making custom items, but for now I want to work on the ever-growing list of things I want to make. I will try to make some kind of button or something for the top of the blog that states whether or not commissions are open- but for now, I apologize!
